Now that I feel free and that I am actually in a safe space to share my thoughts ;) :

I'm not much of a Tarot card reader, but I was amazed to find an image from the Thoth deck - of all decks - that illuminates the ideas I was exploring in the "Matrix Sound Structure" essay. The image shows the octahedral diamond with eight directional lightning bolts over it. To me this represents the eight-dimensional nature of the Four Winds - and of the matrix sound structure - and the Male/Female polarity is indicated by the symbols at the top of the card. Then there's the rainbow image, which recalls the subsequent discussion regarding double-rainbow color polarity. Weird synchronicity here.

Here is a helpful quote I found on the meaning of the image:

"There is a card, the Eight of Wands [Winds?], that has always fascinated me a bit. This is one of those Thoth cards where the meaning is a little different than the 'traditional' Tarot interpretation. The Thoth card shows eight stylized lightning bolts in a spoked-wheel motif. Thoth says it refers to the phenomena of speech, light, and electricity. By extension, in today's parlance you could add email, internet, satellite, or any of a number of technologies where 'speed-fire' is involved."

Moreover, while I mentioned Thoth as being traditionally associated with the Four Winds, the deity is even more associated with his "Company of Eight" (the Ogdoad) - four pairs of divinities or divine powers, each a syzygy of male and female powers, positive and negative, active and passive - which were involved in the creation of the world. Perhaps the Four Winds are the embodiment of these four divine unions, symbolically, since both are involved in creation and the management of it? This would correspond perfectly to the Male/Female polarity of the Four Winds - and of the matrix - that I discussed in the essay, where each Wind has a Male and Female counterpart.
